Day Out in Falmouth

Hey lovelies, I hope that you're all doing well?!

Today I thought that I would put up a little carry on from my last post, which you can view here. My dad was in Cornwall visiting for a week, which meant for lots of lovely days out together, we don't really get a chance to see one another all that much any more, so we are both always sure to treasure our time. This post is of our last full day/evening together exploring and seeing the sights of Falmouth, which may I say, is beautiful.

I unfortunately didn't have my camera on me on this particular day, only my phone, so I hope that you don't mind the photo quality being a little poor for the evening photographs.

Day Out at the Cove

For the past week my dad has been in Cornwall visiting, it's been so great to see his face, and has obviously resulted in us eating out to say the least, a fair few times! During his stay him, myself and my blokey all went for an early evening drive to a beautiful place called Mullion Cove. Once all of the sight seeing, photo taking, and general sitting looking out to sea was done with, we decided to pop into a near by pub for a meal, on first impressions we were quite unsure of the quality of food which we may receive, it was very dark, loud, busy, seemed like a very 'locals' sort of pub. Saying that though the food turned out to be absolutely delicious, I went for the Salmon with Pesto Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables, and we even stayed for a bit of pud, where I followed my main up with a small plate of waffles (which I am addicted to right now)!! with both toffee and chocolate sauce, mmm!

New Favourite for the Eyes?!

Hey lovelies;

So, a week or two ago now, I went on a little shopping trip with a friend, surprisingly I ended up walking away from the counters in Boots empty handed. Laura however bought a couple of lovely bits from the Estee Lauder stand, where she was then given the choice of a free lipstick or mascara, she chose mascara, and to my delight, she handed the little wrapped up package of goodness to me, as she already had a sample of this in her make-up stash (yes she is an Estee Lauder junkie)!

As I say, I've had a nice amount of time to try out the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara, it's believe it or not the very first high end mascara that I've ever had the pleasure of trying, I'm well and truly in love. It gives the lashes so much length, with I'd say a fair bit of volume. In the photos above I am wearing three thin layerings, I think it looks lovely, it keeps the lashes nice and separated, as you can see, I have not even a tiny hint of clump, and best of all, it stays put all day long, even running around work during this busy recent period, feeling all sweaty (lovely I know) I've managed to go home at the end of each day without the effect of the very dreaded panda eyes, 

This mascara has such a big thumbs up from me, and I will definitely be purchasing the full size when it runs runs out, you can purchase it here.
